Bloomin Tulips Festival - Wynyard Tasmania

About our Volunteers
Our team of fifteen are responsible for organising the events calendar and is complimented by an estimated 120 enthusiastic and valued volunteers.

Perhaps the most vital and energetic of these sub-committees is the Wynyard Lions Club. Despite their visible blue and gold jackets, they are the behind -the- scenes backbone to the Tulip Festival weekend. They put in a total of 90 physical man-hours carting chairs, tables and trestles; erecting tents and marquees; organising the popular street parade and are responsible for most of the after Festival clean up. Our Lions are "Kings of the Beasts" in their high standards of service provision and commanding top points in citizenship qualities in their practicality, enthusiasm and friendliness.

This year we welcome another great team of volunteers from Somerset Rotary Club. Their generous support will be used to facilitate our Information Tent on our 'Bloomin Tulips! Festival Day. Their assistance will be very much appreciated.
